• Question: do you think that humans could ever be able to live for ever

      My mother is working on that! Whether I believe that it will happen in our lifetime, however, is tough to say. As I always say, I am just Saint Thomas and want to see things with my eyes first!

      I don’t think that we’ll be able to live forever, but I do think that in the future we’ll be able to slow down the ageing process and hopefully stop diseases. But that won’t stop humans from doing stupid things! We’re pretty fond of doing things that put us at a bit of risk and so I think most of the deaths in the future will be from accidents. But if those people are 500 years old when they have their accident, they’ve probably had a pretty good life, right?!

      I don’t think so, and I don’t know if I’d want to if I’m honest.

      Apart from anything else if that happens the world will very quickly fill up with grumpy old people complaining about the good old days when people used to die and there was enough space. Not a nice idea…
